Helen Collins is an accredited specialist in personal injury law. Helen assists injured workers with workers compensation claims, people injured in transport accidents, and people with public liability claims, including people subject to sexual abuse within institutions, such as religious organisations.
Helen Collins also has experience in estate litigation (testators family maintenance claims), criminal law, family law, and commercial litigation.
Helen Collins graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1998 with honours degrees in science and law. Helen completed an articled clerkship in the Northern Territory in 1999 before returning to Victoria in 2001.
Helen joined Nevin Lenne Gross in 2001 as an associate solicitor practicing in several areas of law until focussing on personal injury law since 2003. In 2007 Helen completed her Masters of Laws at the Australian National University.
In 2013 Helen was accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a specialist in personal injury law.
